Angora Goats

The Angora goat is a very ancient breed known to be in Asia during pre-biblical times. Note – Exodus chapter 35. Verse 26. ‘And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats hair.’ They have always been highly valued for their long, silky white mohair, which is lustrous and very durable.

Angora goats are lovely animals to keep becoming very friendly when handled regularly.

We have been breeding our prize-winning goats for over twenty years for good conformation and fine fleece. The goats we have today have a high yield of fibre and are sheared twice a year.
