Hand Knits

Our garments are all made in West Wales by a small team of hand knitters, working in their own homes. They are knitted in finest hand dyed pure kid mohair from our Blueberry flock of Angora goats. Commissions are welcome in your choice of colours. The sweaters, hats and lacy scarves shown here can also be supplied in kits so that you can knit them yourself if you prefer.

Virginia

This is a slipped garter stitch pattern in three colours. It is quite a warm heavy sweater as the stitch is compact. Price made up: £110.00. Kit £75.00.

Jasmine

This sweater has panels of stocking stitch and trinity stitch with a picot edging on the welt, cuff and collar. It is available in either 4ply (lighter weight) or double knitting. Price made up: £98.00. Kits: 4ply £45.00. Double knit £65.00.

Peony

This pretty sweater has a cable and lace stitch with a picot edge on the welt, cuff and neckline. Price £98.00 made up. Kit: £65.00.

Hand Spun Sweaters

Hand spun kid mohair sweaters are the ultimate in luxury. They have an indescribable silky feel. They can be made to order for you from around £150.00. Hand spun sweaters in other fibres can also be made for you.  Contact us for more details.

These jolly little pull on hats were originally designed to go with the Virginia sweater but have proved to be very popular in their own right. Price £18.00 made up. Kit £12.00.

The hand knitted kid mohair gloves are very warm and cosy. They are available in three sizes, Men’s, Ladies and Child’s. Price £16.00,

The lacy scarves are available in a variety of patterns; all have our characteristic picot edge. Price made up £29.00. Kits contain enough of our pure kid 4ply yarn to make two different lacy scarves in your choice of colour. Price: £20.00.
