Hand Woven Items

The hand woven products are all made individually in our Moylegrove studio. Commissions are welcome in your choice of colours. Some examples of my work are shown here.

Floor Rugs

The yarn for the floor rugs is hand spun using the mohair from our young goats, hand dyed and then woven on a linen warp, in a limited choice of patterns. They can be made to any length and up to a maximum width of 28”. Prices start at £150.00.

Cushions

The cushions are woven in a large variety of patterns from the hand dyed mohair of our young goats. They are 18” square, although other sizes can be made on request. I usually use feather fillers but polyester pads are also available if preferred. Prices start at £33.00.

Scarves

The scarves are woven using our kid mohair. The patterns vary and any of the hand dyed colours can be used. They can be finished with either a knotted or rolled fringe. The rolled fringes can be beaded if required. They are usually 11” (28cm) wide x 60” (153cm) long, although anything is possible. Prices are around £35.00.

Wraps - The wraps can be woven in either kid or young goat mohair. A few examples are shown here.

This is a large check wrap woven in young goat mohair with 30% wool. 33” (84cm) wide x 75” (191cm) long with a rolled fringe.  Four colours were used for this one. Price £85.00.

The single colour wrap shown here was woven from our kid mohair, has a slightly raised pattern and a beaded rolled fringe. Size 25” (64cm) x 72” (183cm). Price £85.00

This luxurious wrap was woven using our hand dyed kid mohair in three colours. It has a rolled beaded fringe. Size 25” (64cm) x 72” (183cm). Price £100.00.  Many other patterns can be used for this wrap.
